I think it would help people if after the instruction to download file. The only thing that I think should be added to the docs page is how to download the file. What I was doing wrong was using the inav configurator (I don't know what happend) but all I did differently was use betaflight and it worked flashed the f756 wing and off to MP I go.Įvery new electronic toy/tool always has something go wrong that slows the process down and no matter how much I don't understand what happen, I always think to myself man that was easy why did I get so frustrated at it last night.
Once firmware with b/l option is loaded you can update in Mission Planner using the. You have to use Betaflight to do the initial firmware load, not Mission Planner. Right click on the file name, then 'Save Link As' and it will download. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong here but the way I'm trying, worked for the people in the YouTube videos. So I looked up on YouTube how to load the firmware and it shows to right click and save link as on the firmware ardupilot_with_bl.hex so when I try using betaflight or inav to load local firmware in the firmware flasher tab it won't ever load the file.
When I click on the firmware it takes me to a page full of what I'm guessing is code.
The wiki doesn't do a good job of explaining how to save it. I'm having trouble downloading the ardupilot firmware on to my matek f756 wing for the first time.
